Equally, logos with multiple print colours, including tints or graduations, may look great on the letterhead however, when it comes to printing the logo with silk screen printing onto a promotional product, the price increases with each print colour and tints or graduations cannot be printed.

6. Traditionally pens have been printed using silk screen printing, the design mostly consisting of name, address and telephone number, sometimes accompanied by a line art logo. Recent advances in digital printing technology have allowed promotional pens to be printed in full colour using digital printing.
